Eerie by {C. M. McCoy}

Hailey Hartley struggles to fit in. High school isn’t a good fit for her or her older sister, Holly. When the unthinkable happens, Hailey has to learn how to continue despite the absence of her sister. As time goes on, Hailey struggles to live her life. With paranormal beings after her, Hailey accepts a scholarship to a university in Alaska. Things don’t quite work out the way she or her uncles expect in Bear Towne. Hailey isn’t as safe as they all expected.

With unexpected humor and fast-paced writing, C.M. McCoy fashions a world that captures my imagination, and I couldn’t wait to read on to the next chapter. I spent the majority of my last twenty-four hours huddled on my couch cushion, plowing ahead, determined to know what happened between Hailey Hartley, Fin, and Asher. The roommate from Hell, Yetis, and bookworms… Definitely a recommended read.

Can’t wait for the next one!

Some language. Light romance / steam. Medium gore.

Come in for some coffee and homemade plum jelly. My husband, Farmer Bill, made it. It’s the best in our part of Texas. I promise, between incubating peafowl eggs and bottle-feeding farm babies, I’m currently stuck in elsewhere worlds out the wahzoo. So, if you stick around a little while, you’ll get to join me on some of my adventures… plus chickens. 1. I’m always intrigued by Paranormal Romance, but please let me know if it has incredible (meaning, not believable) sex scenes. Mid-air flotation, rotation or orbital entry tends to make me laugh instead of inspiring any more earthy responses. (Seriously read a book which contained a scene about sex in space. Permanently hurt myself laughing at that one.)

    1. The POV is mostly a young female human. All the responses were believable. The situations were near-to-real life. There were some dream kisses, but still from her human (believable) POV, they were humanly responses. McCoy did a good job on that, I thought.
